The JIPSD wishes you a safe and happy holiday season! Please note the following solid waste collection schedule and hours of operation:

Tuesday, Dec 24th – OFFICES CLOSED	No services
Wednesday, Dec 25th – OFFICES CLOSED	No services
Thursday, December 26th – OFFICES CLOSED	Tues – Roll cart collection
Friday, December 27th – OFFICES CLOSED	Wed & Thursday – Roll cart collection
Wednesday, January 1, 2025 – OFFICES CLOSED	Garbage and trash will operate one day behind schedule

The yard and bulk debris routes will follow the same schedule. Any yard or bulk debris not collected will be collected the following week. Please put your carts out as soon as possible, there will be extra equipment out all week to ensure all garbage routes are completed. Please remember that any excess cardboard can be taken to the Charleston County Convenience Center located at 1716 Signal Point Rd. If you have a Wastewater emergency, please call 843.795.2345.

Attention JIPSD Customers:

Please note that on Thursday, December 5^th, we will be closing at 1:00 pm for a scheduled employee event. We will resume our normal business hours of 8 am to 5 pm on Monday, December 9^th.

Our offices will be closed on Thursday, November 28, 2024, in observance of Thanksgiving. During the holiday week, Wednesday & Thursday garbage collection will both occur on Wednesday, November 27th. If you have a Wastewater emergency, please call 843.795.2345.

Our offices will be closed Monday, November 11, 2024, in observance of Veterans Day. During the holiday week, garbage and trash collection will occur one day later than your regular collection day. If you have a Wastewater emergency, please call 843.795.2345.

The Solid Waste department will be suspending bulk debris pick up (mattresses, construction debris and furniture) until next week. Please refrain from putting any bulk debris on the street until collection resumes on Monday Oct 7^th, this will allow us to focus on the large amount of yard debris from TS Helene. We appreciate your understanding.
