Wastewater Projects
Schooner Road
The Schooner Road project will add approximately 2500 linear feet of gravity sewer line and 44 services on Schooner Road to connect to an existing sewer system within the Lighthouse Point Subdivision.
Update: The project is in the process of closing out. Letters have now been sent out allowing connecting to the new sewer system. Landmark Construction is still in the process of completing the final cleanup of the ditches and shoulders of the road.
Harbor View Circle Force Main Replacement
The Harbor View Circle force main project will replace 1900 feet of 14” force main going into the Plum Island Wastewater Treatment Plant and it will include the installation of a flow meter.
Update: The project is awaiting funding and is expected to start soon.
Battery Island Drive and Arsburn Road
This project will consist of hiring an engineering firm to design a sewer system to serve the area. A preliminary design has approximatley 5900 L.F. of 8" gravity sewer piping, 2500 L.F. of 4" force main piping and a pump station.
Update: GEL Engineering firm has been selected to design the project and has started development of the project.
Pump Station 33
The station will be upgraded with new pumps, piping, electrical system, backup generator and odor controls. A new force main going down Secessionville Road to Fort Johnson Road wil be included in this project.
Update: The project is awaiting funding and is expected to start soon.
