The James Island Public Service District (JIPSD) provides services for fire protection, wastewater collection, and solid waste collection, as well as, street name signs and lighting to the residents of James Island, South Carolina.

 

 

 

Wastewater Projects

Pump Station 33

The rehabilitation of Pump Station 33 located on Secessionville Road is currently in the design phase and the process to apply for the State Revolving Fund is in progress. The projected time for bidding the project is January 2010.

Schooner Road Project Update

The Schooner Road project will add approximately 2500 linear feet of gravity sewer line and 44 services on Schooner Road to connect to an existing sewer system within the Lighthouse Point Subdivision.

UPDATE: Landmark Construction Company will be installing well points and setting up their staging area (located behind 649 Schooner Road). Digging will be at the intersection of Galleon and Schooner Road.
