The JIPSD apologizes, but due to the projected rain and winds expected Thursday, the annual Community Services Event is being postponed. We will be rescheduling the event so that our community can come out and enjoy seeing all the wonderful people and equipment that help serve them. As soon as a date and time is set, we will inform everyone. We apologize again, but feel this is in the best interest and safety of the people we serve. Stay tuned however!
JIPSD 3rd Quarter Donation to JI Outreach
JIPSD associates donated 119 lbs. of food and personal hygiene products to the JI Outreach for its 3rd quarter of 2018! Every donation counts and every donation is appreciated. We encourage the community to help support this local James Island nonprofit organization.

JIPSD Force Main Diversion & Capacity Upgrade Project – RESCHEDULED
The mandatory pre-bid conference scheduled for Tuesday, September 11th at 2 p.m. has been rescheduled to Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at 2 p.m. The conference will be held in the District Conference room located at 1739 Signal Point Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
JIPSD Offices will open Monday at 7:30am, September 17, 2018
Solid Waste operations will resume Monday September 17th and will be running on a regular route schedule.
